There Will Be Blood.

There Will Be Blood.

Daniel Day-Lewis takes us on a journey of greed, envy, self loathing and hatred as we watch him build an oil empire with his bare hands at the turn of the twentieth century.

The score and screen action binds you to the story before one word is ever spoken.  That to me is impressive.  This is perhaps Daniel Day-Lewis’ finest performance.

This film gets ten oil rigs out of ten oil rigs.  It might be a full price purchase the week it’s released on DVD.
