30 dollar underwear

So I splurged on some Duluth Trading Company Buck Naked boxer briefs and undershirt. Wore them to a jobsite with no AC and a heat index outside of 100 degrees. I was like, eh, these feel okay but are they worth triple, maybe more, what I normally pay for undergarments? These things were like 27 per piece – except I got the boxer briefs on clearance for 14 or something. Either way, typically I’m reluctant to pay 20 bucks for a 3 pack.

Today I went back to the jobsite with regular old cotton tank undershirt and some Hanes boxer briefs of a similar fabric to the Buck Nakeds. Mostly nylon, a little bit cotton.

Well, the Duluth stuff performed better. And by performed better I mean felt better on my body all day. Especially the tank top undershirt. The cotton felt like I was in a wet tee shirt contest all day. The Buck Naked was certainly wet, but wet just on the top. Against my skin felt the same pretty much all day. Not like I’m wearing a wet tee shirt.

So yeah. Def worth trying if ya got a couple extra bucks.

Also this cotton under tee looks like hell right now, still wet and salt rings you don’t want to imagine.

I’ll prolly research similar garments at more reasonable prices.
